Laughlin AFB USO Day Room Grand Opening Ceremony

USO San Antonio unveiled a new day room during a ribbon cutting ceremony at Laughlin Air Force Base, Feb. 4, 2025, juts in time for USO 84th Birthday! The opening of the day room at XL Landings, marks a new milestone in the partnership of Laughlin Air Force Base and the USO. The new USO Day Room at XL Landings will serve as a nexus to provide USO programs, services and outreach to active duty and reserve members of the armed forces and their families who call Laughlin AFB their home. Day Room amenities include Wi-Fi access, snacks and beverages, and lounge area with TV entertainment, movies and family games, all made possible by our world famous USO volunteers and generous donors. A heartfelt thank you to the local military and USO Regional leadership for their unwavering commitment in making this impactful project a reality. We are deeply grateful to our mission partners, donors, and volunteers for their continued support and dedication. The Grand Opening Ceremony was a resounding success, with esteemed guests enjoying the new Day Room and its amenities, savoring delicious hors d'oeuvres, and, of course, no celebration would be complete without a cake-cutting ceremony! #theUSO
