EXODUS 2024: USO San Antonio supports thousands of troops at SAT
This holiday season, USO San Antonio once again had the honor of serving thousands of service members departing Joint Base San Antonio, Texas, for their Holiday Block Leave to celebrate with family and friends. Over 6,000 service members from every branch of the military were supported through the USO San Antonio Airport Center and two additional Holiday Satellite Centers, strategically located throughout the terminals. For the week marking the completion of training activities at Joint Base San Antonio, USO San Antonio delivered its annual Holiday Block Leave EXODUS support, featuring a 24-hour main center and two satellite centers created exclusively for this special occasion. With countless smiles and heartfelt holiday greetings, our dedicated staff and more than 200 volunteers provided essential travel services, food, beverages, charging stations, gift wrapping, and even overnight accommodations for those with unexpected delays. This incredible program wouldn’t be possible without the generous support of our sponsors: USAA, RBFCU, as well as the endless support from the City of San Antonio - Municipal Government and San Antonio International Airport. Your contributions help make the holidays brighter for our military community. #USOHolidays
