Tech students enjoying USO Canine Programs at USO Ft. Sam Houston

One of our favorite days at USO Fort Sam Houston is our Canine Program with volunteers Sadie Grace & Koda Bear, accompanied by their human Diane! Morale days with therapy dogs are so important to our guests, especially those missing their fur-relatives back home. Through the USO Canine Program, the valuable connection between humans and dogs is recognized. This program includes therapy dogs, family pets, and military working dog programs. Canine companions play an important role in delivering physical, mental, and emotional support to help strengthen service members, families, and communities.
