USO San Antonio celebrates Volunteer Appreciation Week

Volunteers are the heart of the USO. Whether it’s helping at a special event, greeting and cheering at homecomings, working the front desk or providing a listening ear, our volunteers are the reason service members know they can count on us. USO San Antonio kicked off Volunteer Appreciation Week early with a Spring Celebration at Chicken N Pickle Entertainment Complex. On a beautiful Texas day our amazing volunteers enjoyed spending fun time together- playing yard games, participated in couched pickleball sessions, along with offerings at a delicious buffet and desserts.
